Early Medieval human remains
These are poorly preserved remains from the inhumation burial of an older middle adult (33-45 years) who was probably female.
The burial is from phase F: 684-986 AD She was buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented West-East.
Her teeth showed evidence of Dental Enamel Hypoplasia, shows as marks on the teeth from interrupted growth during childhood. This interruption in growth is due to some form of trauma, disease, or a period of poor nutrition during childhood.
Her burial is associated, by proximity, to SK96 and SK97.
