Black painted steel helmet with a white 'W' painted on the front, possibly for Warden. Chinstrap missing. 2 metal brackets to hold chinstrap, each stamped III / 1943. Stamped I /1943 / R.O. around one of the brackets, possibly denoting Rubery Owen & Co of Leeds as manufacturer. Canvas fittings inside for around the head. Cruciform pad inside crown. Formerly of Gwent Police Museum collection
