Used when police officers had to be a certain height and weight. Believed to be of late 19th century date

Metal (possibly iron) hanging attchment for the weighing scales (F09.29.70.1). Long hook with base on the end on which to place the weights. Hook on the end which hooks onto a metal loop. Formerly part of Gwent Police Museum collection
