A Transport a General Workers’ Union (TGWU) membership card for the year 1958. The membership card was issued to Mr John Evans (donor’s grandfather), a quarryman at Dinorwic Slate Quarries. The membership card notes the contributions made by Mr John Evans to the TGWU in 1958. According to the donor the contributions made by Mr John Evans come to an end in April 1958 due to the fact that he retired from his work as a quarryman at the end of that month. The card is grey.
