A natural pebble, oval shaped, that has been highly polished. This polishing could be the result of water rolling, but is more likely to be deliberatly caused by repeated handling. The purpose of this stone is unclear. It may be a slingshot bolt, flooring or packing. It may also have been kept purely for its aesthetic appeal, this pebble is dark grey with pale patches.
