Figure of Garibaldi on horseback facing left, white earthenware, crackled glaze, standing on an oval plinth inscribed in raised gilt capitals. Largely gilt and white, in military dress of black shoes, white trousers and jacket, gilt star and tassel on chest, naturalistically painted face, grey beard and grey hair, holding high peaked hat in right hand against the neck of the horse, and holding the reins in his left hand. White horse with gilt spots, stepping on a modelled ground. Clump of extruded grass by the horse's front and back hooves.
