Four conjoining pieces. The base has been badly chipped. This type of ornamental finial was used in conjunction with a cresting of oolitic limestone on roofs clad in stone slabs. The rectangular base, shaped to sit on the ridge of the roof, supports a structure representing a four-way arch standing on square piers with impost mouldings. Above this is a grooved cornice-like projection, and a roof with waisted sides. The whole is crowned by a cylindrical, slightly domed pinnacle, surrounded by four leaf-like projections.

Nodiadau: Found in Room 7 of the north wing of the villa. Lengths of the shaped ridge- cresting (1888.22) were also unearthed in this room, as well as a quantity of stone roof slabs (1888.21).
