Early Medieval human remains
This is these are the moderately preserved remains (over 75%) of a Younger Middle Adult (25-35 years) who was Female. She was buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented Northwest-Southeast.
The burial is from Phase E: 606-873 AD
Her vertebra had evidence of schmorls nodes which are caused by herniation due to back sprain.
Her teeth showed signs of having abscess, periodontal disease and calculus, all pointing to poor oral hygiene and potentially a sugary high carbohydrate diet. Her teeth also exhibited Dental Enamel Hypolasia, which are marks caused by interruptions in growth during childhood.
The burial is associated by proximity with SK138 and SK139
