These are moderately preserved remains from the inhumation burial of a young adult (25-39 years) who was probably female.
The burial is from phase H: 772-1019 AD She was buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented West-East.
Her cranium showed signs of Cribia Orbitalia which is a marked area of the cranium caused by swelling of the diploe, normally during childhood. This swelling can be caused by many different kinds of dietary deficiencies, diseases and traumas. Her teeth also showed Dental Enamel Hypoplasia, which are marks caused by interruptions in growth during childhood. The causes of DEH are quite similar to Cribia Orbitalia. Both conditions indicate this individual suffered a period of trauma, disease or nutritional deficiency during childhood.
The burial is associated, by proximity, to SK93 and SK97.
