Plate, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a prominent straight sided foot rim curving into slightly cushion moulded and straight spreading sides; lobed lip, with four small and four large lobes, and cruciform moulding; transfer printed in olive enamel and filled in enamels in the famille rose palette, with the 'Stonebird' pattern,- an oriental bird on a rock in a landscape setting, amongst three groups of stylised flowers; three-tiered border, the first a diaper pattern transfer printed in olive enamel with gilt circles, and four lobed cartouches of flowers, the second a border of oriental flowers and foliage on a white ground banded by gilt lines, the third a narrow turquoise border over transfer printed hatching; gilt lip.
