Four letters of correspondence between W.Hancock of Birmingham University Mining Department and Sir Robert Davis of Siebe Gorman & Co., regarding the loan of material for a Mining Department conversazione. Letters 88.98I/6 (23), (25) and (26) are from W.Hancock to Sir Robert Davis, typed in black ink on off-white paper. Dated the 19th, 23rd and 25th Feb 1938. Letter 88.98I/6 (24) is from Sir Robert Davis to W.Hancock, typed in black ink on off-white paper. The letter is dated 22nd Feb, 1938. These four letters were secured by a paperclip. All documents with the accession number 88.98I/6 were originally contained together in an acidic card file.
