Casgliadau Arlein

Pitcher of buff earthenware, standing on a slightly uneven base, rounded, slightly bulbous lower body, straight broad neck, flaring slightly, ending in a wide, horizontal rim; broad ridged, loop handle; largely unglazed with patches of dark green glaze to base, scattered drips of similar glaze to body and an apron of thin, mottled brown and green glaze around upper body; the interior unglazed with clear concentric lines giving a ribbed effect.
