‘Comradeship of Heroes from around the World’ is taken from the lyrics of ‘Viva la Quinta Brigada’ a song by Irish folksinger Christy Moore in 1986. The song refers to Irish volunteers in the 15th Brigade of the International Brigades, but the use of Quinta (Fifth) was put in by mistake, and the correct word ‘Quince’ (15th) was later used in the song title.
