All between two shields, dext. chequy, WARRENE (for William de Warrenne, earl of Surrey, founder); sin. quarterly, 1. and 4. a lion rampant , FITZALAN (for Richard Fitzalan, earl of Arundel, later benefactor and patron ), 2. and 3. WARRENNE.
