Lower quadrangular shaft of a composite pillar cross, with a deep socket in the top surface for the attachment of the tenon of the missing upper section. Each face consists of a vertical panel recessed between bulbous angle-mouldings, enriched with plain plait-work, between bands of roll-mouldings; four at the top and two at the base. The upper edges are rounded, with traces of single rows of ringed pellet mouldings in low relief. A. (S.W. face before removal): 1. Two patterns of irregular interlace, framed by double moulding; 2. Below, the rest of the panel contained (now indecipherable) lettering. B. (N.W.): Divided vertically into three equal parts; the two upper divisions containing patterns of plain irregular interlace, the lowest third being blank. C. (N.E.): Indecipherable through weathering. D. (S.E.): 1. Irregular diagonal key-pattern, occupying two-thirds of the panel; 2. Plain irregular interlace; 3. Row of ringed pellets defining the bottom of the panel.

Nodiadau: Original monument was formerly located at the above farm, before subsequent removal to the Margam Abbey museum in 1969. (The weathering of the N.E. face suggests it may have originally stood near a spring, 20m to N. of the presumed findspot).
