Oral history recording with Geraint Jones-Griffiths. Recorded as part of the MENCAP Our Social Networks project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF). The three-and-a-half years project collected the stories of friendships and relationships from people with a learning disability through conversations with them, their friends, romantic partners or family members, telling us a great deal about how people’s friendships and romantic/intimate relationships are supported, the barriers people have faced, and the importance of love, belonging and connection.
