A typescript note by Miss L. F. Chitty ref. wands used in the making of 'Canwyll-y-Dwr' (Water Candles) based on information gleaned in 1928 from Mrs [?] Jones, Letty Adda, Llangwnadl, Edeyrn, who described 'the three processes of candle-making which were in use in the Lleyn Peninsula some 40 years ago'.
