Parallels may be cited from th etemple well, Pagans Hill (fig 22), and from the cemetery at Koln-Mungersdorf, grave 130, 9. Of a possible similar object from Carraig Aille II it is said that it 'may have been a harness fitting' (fig 10, 23).
