Samian bowl sherd, form Dr37. A Southern Gaulish sherd of pink fabric with a light red slip. The moulding is quite good but the main figure-type is crudely modelled. There are two zones - an upper zone with an arrowhead panel and a lower zone with a two-horse chariot (biga) to the right, a tree behind. The chariot is being driven by a female figure cf Oswald 118 and Hermet 229. The latter is ascribed to Artemis with a crescent moon on her head. The female figure on this sherd has her hair in a bun and there is no diadem, suggesting a different figure type..
Dr 37 is a hemispherical decorated bowl
