Fine woollen ground embroidered with fine coloured wools in cross stitch. Border of narrow wavy line. Upper part: row of scrolling line, six rows of upper and lower case alphabets, some letters repeated, ampersands and numerals, with floral wavy line below. Lower part: verse, followed by maker's name, age and date, and at base three large flowering plants and bird motifs.
