Back consists of broad, double tenoned slat, 6¾" wide, with moulded edges and also down the centre in two lines. Domed crest has moulded upper edge and contains ornamental device consisting of two leaves and a central flower (?) carved in relief. Stiles of back moulded like crest and with asymmetrical rounded terminals; lower rail of back has horizontal central moulding. Seat has rounded edge and is pegged to frame. Plain double side stretchers and plain rear stretcher. Turned front stretcher and legs. Seat rail moulded (cyma reversa) on lower side on front and sides.
