This is the Inhumation Burial of an Older Middle Adult (40-44 years) who was Male. They are moderately preserved with 75% completeness.
The burial is from Phase C: 430-659 AD
He was buried in a cist grave cut into the bedrock and with a solid line of charcoal surrounding the individual. The wood was sampled as Sample 994. He was buried supine with his left arm folded across the chest.
Associated with SK446, which was a Young Adult Female buried to the right and parallel with SK443. They were both from very similar cist graves surrounded by charcoal suggesting they may have both been interred in coffins. They are both listed as from Phase C.
His teeth had signs of Calculus and Periodontal Disease.
