Bottle jar, fine buff coloured stoneware, slightly concave base with mat impressions, uneven globular body with indistinct shoulder, curving to a short upright neck; ash glazed with brown speckles, broad band of ?resist cross-hatching across body, extending from just above the foot to the shoulder.
