Coarse, gritty, well-fired ware, with dark grey to brown smoothed surface, showing traces of ring building. The form is that of a shouldered food-vase with vestigial double shoulder groove, bridged by seven unperforated lugs; the decoration consists of fifteen broad horizontal furrows at regular intervals from shoulder to base, the intervening ridges and the flat top of the rim being decorated with vertical or vertical edges of the lugs.
