A pilgrim badge with a quatrefoil openwork frame. The frame is bevelled with pellets running on both the inner and outer edges. There is a small pelleted knop in each outer corner of the quartefoil. At the centre of the badge is the bust of a man, facing ahead. The man is bearded, wearing a mitre (or crown?) on his head, and a wide collar on his shoulders.
On the reverse is an integral pin, diamond-shaped in cross-section and facing vertially down (tip at bottom). There are casting scars visible on the frame.
