Copy of a letter written by Mr Eifion Hughes to the editor of the 'Caernarvon & Denbigh Herald' on 5th December 1969, expressing his reluctance for the machines at the Dinorwig maintenance yard to be sold. In his letter he also appeals to the authorities to place a preservation order on the Dinorwig yard and preserve it as a typical workshop.
