Early Medieval human remains
These are remains from the Inhumation Burial of an Adult who's sex is Undetermined. They are in a poor state of preservation and around 50% are remaining.
The burial is from Phase D: 529-709 AD
Thier bones had bilateral Osteochondritis Dissecans on the base of the left proximal hallucial phalanx, which is part of the bones in the feet. These can be caused by a range of factors, but are most often the result of direct trauma.
