A metal NFS badge (seperate accession) sits above the peak, with a plastic band running between the peak and the badge across the front of the cap. The inside of the cap appears to be lined with water resistant fabric-possibly oilcloth?. There is a leather trim around the inside of the head band possibly for the wearers comfort.
