Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea bowl standing on a foot rim, flared sides; decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt with two harbour scenes, one with two main figure with their arms around each other, child and barrels in foreground, building to right, the other with two figures and package in foreground, ships to right, house to left, each within an ornamental gilt cartouche with purple and iron-red scrolling, gilt border to lip, ornamental gilt border to inner lip, bottom with brushwood fencing and flowers. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading body; decorated in purple with two harbour scenes, one of a figure standing on a rock pointing to a boat, the other of two figures, one reclining, one standing watching the harbour, both surrounded by ornamental gilt cartouches with purple and iron-red scrolling, polychrome enamel spray of flowers and brushwood fencing in between, ornamental gilt border to lip.
