Medieval pottery jug
Rim and pulled/moulded spout of a medieval jug. The spout is slightly misshapen. The sherd is abraded and has concretions attached to the exterior surface. There are faint remnants of a pale green glaze just beneath the spout.

Nodiadau: Found on a housing site. Reportedly recovered in late 1977 during building operations near St. Joseph's School, Tredegar Park. The discovery of the pottery was only reported after work on the site was completed and there appears to be no additional information available concerning the find-spot itself.
