Tea cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, cup standing on a foot rim, rounded sides, curved inward at base, twig handle with foliate terminal, waved lip, border of moulded Alt Ozier' basket weave pattern around lip; decorated in polychrome enamels, opposite the handle with three birds in a tree, one yellow, one with a red breast, the other blue, brown and white, two insects either side of handle, blue and gilt decoration to handle and terminals, two insects to bottom, gilt border line to lip. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides, waved lip, border of mouldedAlt Ozier' basket weave pattern around lip, decorated in centre with two birds in a tree, one with a very long beak and yellow, green and blue feathers, the other with a brown tail, blue back, white front and dark blue head, four insects around `Alt Ozier' border, gilt border to lip.
