Good brown ware, well made with narrow rim which has a deep concave bevel internally, and a well-marked neck and shoulder, the latter being the widest part of the vessel. Decoration: oblique impressed 'maggots' forming a herring-bone pattern on rim, collar and neck, with simple row just under shoulder, which also has a series of long, oval depressions spaced along it.
