Cardiff Dragons FC 'Captain' armband. Cardiff Dragons FC was founded in 2008. Their first match was held on Sunday 26 October 2008 where they beat the London Romans 5-4 at Caedelyn Park, Whitchurch, Cardiff. This armband was worn by the captain, Murray Harvey (a member of Cardiff Dragons from 2008 until 2018), at this first match.
Arm band; blue with white horizontal stripe across the centre - made from blue and white synthetic fabric. Elasticated with narrow bands of black rubber. Stitched together with one vertical seam. 'CAPTAIN' printed in black onto the white stripe. The fabric is constructed of bundles of blue and white fibres that run vertically and lines of horizontal stitches that keep them in place; the horizontal ribs that are created in this way are c. 3.5mm wide.
