Cup and saucer, from a cabaret service, the cup a soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, with a blue-green translucency, the saucer a soft-paste 'trident' porcelain with a yellowish earthy translucency; cup standing on a ridged pedestal foot, ovoid shape, flared upright collar; loop handle with palmette moulding; saucer standing on a flared foot rim, ridged above, with slightly curved spreading sides, flaring at lip; painted with diagonal rows of three pink roses alternating with three gilt c-scrolls and red berries, all below a gilt c-scroll border; gilt dotted and c-scrolled border to collar and inside collar; gilt detail to handle; gilt scalloped edge to lip, and gilt bands to foot; bouquet of three pink roses to centre of saucer.
