Roman samian bowl, decorated
Panel decoration, demarcated by fine wavy lines ending in rosettes. Arrowheads and oblique wavy lines. The "arrow-heads" are of an early type and have five terminal prongs A straight chevron wreath closes the design. There is a sharply defined horizontal fluting beneath the decoration, and the well formed footstand is reminiscent of form 29. Good workmanship.
