Amgueddfa Cymru
A sharp-edged, wedge-shaped stone. Not water worn. One face is heavily weathered. The other face is less weathered and has a cup-shaped hollow, 50mm in diameter, 22mm deep. There may be the edge of a second, similar hollow close by. One edge is heavily heat-affected. This could be part of a prehistoric cup-marked stone in a residual context.

Enw'r Safle: Porth y Rhaw, Solva
Nodiadau: Excavations undertaken during the summers of 2019, 2021 and 2022 at Porth-y-Rhaw coastal promontory fort, Solva, Pembrokeshire (SAM PE-273), revealing occupation and finds of Iron Age and Romano-British date. The project was funded by Cadw, the Nineveh Charitable Trust, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and The National Trust. The entire archive for this excavation was created and stored in digital format and is not held by Amgueddfa Cymru - Museum Wales.
