Coffee cup, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, cylindrical sides tapering inwards towards the base and with a very slightly flaring foot-rim, double-curved scrolled loop handle with foliate-moulding to the shoulder; finely painted in puce and gilt with around the exterior sides of the cup a large spray and several smaller sprigs of Chinese-style flowers, a border around the interior lip-rim of scrolls and flower heads in puce and gilt, the handle picked out in puce. The foot-rim and lip-rim both slightly chipped. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curving sides; finely painted in puce and gilt with to the well a large spray and several smaller sprigs of Chinese-style flowers, a border around the rim of scrolls and flower heads in puce and gilt.
