Early Medieval human remains
An incomplete and fragmented inhumation of an adult probable female aged c.20-30 years (extended, supine) in a plain grave oriented southwest-northeast. The grave was partially lined with 'demarcation stones' at the feet.
Elements present: Fragmented cranium (fragment with endocranial lesion bagged separately), mandible, maxilla, and loose teeth; unsided scapula fragments; carpal (n=1) and phalange (n=1); unidentified vertebrae, ribs; L and R clavicles; R humerus shaft and fragmented proximal epiphysis; L humerus; R proximal ulna; L proximal ulna (n=2, representing two individuals?); L and R radius; fragmentary pelvis; L and R femur fragments; unsided tibiae; unsided patella (with periostitis); unsided fibula; miscellaneous unidentified fragments.
Intrusion: an extra left ulna epiphyses (ulnae bagged together) - unsure which belongs to this individual.
