Early Medieval human remains
An incomplete and fragmentary inhumation of an adult female aged 25-35 years (extended, supine) in a plain grave oriented south-north (head to south). SK 753 is disturbed by SK 754 (SK754 lies on the chest of SK753).
Elements present: skull fragments, maxilla fragments, loose teeth (calculus), L mandible fragments (calculus), L scapula, vertebrae, ribs, L humerus (pathology: osteoarthritis on capitulum), R proximal/head of humerus, phalanges and metacarpals, L and R pelvis, R proximal femur, L proximal femur, miscellaneous unidentified fragments/dirt.
An intrustion of a different individual (possibly SK 754?) is represented by: R mandible (severe caries on M3), L mandible fragments, loose teeth (calculus), skull fragments, clavicle with possible healed fracture, R clavicle.
Burnt clay and 'burial pebbles' were also found in the grave.
