Stand, pedestal form, for NMW A 51212 (cup by Fogelberg and Gilbert), silver, in the classical Edwardian style. Square foot, with a line of beading above, foot tapering inwards to a band of cast scrolls and scrolling husks on a punched ground, and a double step. Square body with an inset panel on each side, two opposite, with screwholes for for later applied plaques, one panel engraved with a coat of arms mantled with scolling leaves and under a crowned lion passant ermine, with to left a scroll engraved 'EN DIEU EST', to right 'MON ESPERANCE'; on opposite side a crowned lion passant over a scroll and same motto. Band of beading above, body tapering outwards to an square platform on which a raised circular disk for the base of the cup.
