Terrence Higgins Trust 40th anniversary badge, 2022. Given out at a THT event to mark the launch of the Welsh Government’s HIV Action Plan held at the Senedd on 15 June 2022.
4 July 2022 marked the 40th anniversary of the death of Terry Higgins. Terry was born in Pembrokeshire in 1945, and was the first named person to die from AIDS in the UK in 1982. The charity Terrance Higgins Trust was set up in his name soon after his death.
