Early Medieval human remains
This is the partially disarcitulated Inhumation Burial of an Adult who's sex is undertermined. They are poorly preserved with only fragments of skull and rib survive. Fragments from the humerus were seen during excavation but don't seem to have survived the lifting process.
The tip of an iron knife (2025.7H/2.45, sf no. 19-045) was recovered from the same context.
The burial seemed to be in a supine and extended position oriented West-East, however their remains were quite disturbed. It is Unphased and recovered from the Neolithic ditch just to the South East of the main cemetery.
Their teeth showed Calculus and Dental Enamel Hypoplasia
