Shaft and ringed cross-head; with one arm missing from the cross-head. The head has widely splayed arms, with narrow curved inter-arm spaces, which were linked by a plain ring of square section recessed from both faces. The lower arm is truncated and splayed almost to the width of the shaft. All four sides are decorated and framed by bulbous mouldings, which retain traces of decoration in places. The vertical angle mouldings terminate top and bottom with multiple bands of roll moulding. A.1. The cross head is edged with double-beaded moulding; 2. Narrow horizontal band, vertically ribbed; 3. The shaft contains a single panel, filled with a weathered Latin inscription. B.1. Missing; 2. Narrow band, vertically ribbed; 3. Traces of debased interlace and fret motifs, the lowest section a square of "diaper pattern". C.1. Moulded frame (top edge of) has alternating bands of vertical and horizontal ribbing, the panel being framed and divided vertically by a double-beaded moulding. D.1. The arm-end has traces of a debased fret motif; 2. Narrow band, vertically ribbed; 3. Damaged panel containing; (a) remains of a double-beaded two-strand twist, (b) horizontal ribbing and (c), alternating triangular frets.
