Early Medieval human remains
This is these are the poorlypreserved remains of an infant (8-16 months). They were buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented West-East.
The burial is from Phase E: 606-873 AD
The burial is associated by proximity with SK151
SK143 may be missing a pelvis bag. A note from post-excavation comments "whole of SK143 is not on wash log, so unsure if bag is lost, maybe no bone recoverable or maybe combined into another bag by washer?"
