Figure of Louis Napoleon, white earthenware, slightly crackled glaze with a slight blue tint, irregular oval base inscribed in gilt raised capitals on a narrow plaque. Seated astride a horse facing right, in military uniform, of black boots, white breeches, yellow gloves, green cloak with a white collar, underglaze blue jacket with gilt detailing and buttons, orange epaulettes, black cocked hat with a pink/purple plume, head turned outwards resting right hand on right thigh, left hand on horse's head and holding gilt reins. Horse orange brown in colour with yellow harnessing spotted with blue, red brown mane and tail and a black mouth, horse stepping forward on a green and brown base, head slightly inclined outwards. Definition poor, discoloured restoration. Rough green brown ground rising to support horse.
