Two heavily corroded pieces of iron that may be from the same object. One fragment has a large round body, with flat-ish sides, and a protruding bar rectangular bar. The other fragment is a long rectangular bar, one end matches the size of the bar on the first fragment, the other end gets progressively wider with corroded material.
X-raying shows the narrow fragment is a straight sided bar. The other fragment is less clear.

Nodiadau: Excavations undertaken during the summers of 2019, 2021 and 2022 at Porth-y-Rhaw coastal promontory fort, Solva, Pembrokeshire (SAM PE-273), revealing occupation and finds of Iron Age and Romano-British date. The project was funded by Cadw, the Nineveh Charitable Trust, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and The National Trust. The entire archive for this excavation was created and stored in digital format and is not held by Amgueddfa Cymru - Museum Wales.
