Casgliadau Arlein

Plate, earthenware, standing on a tapering foot rim, rounded, spreading sides, moulded with a large vine leaf, extending from the centre to the rim; issuing layered foliage and radiating patterns of veins from a curving central stalk, on a basketwork ground apparent on sections of the outer rim not covered by the leaf: undecorated, covered with a thick clear glassy glaze over a whitish body.
