Built 1954 by Eriksbergs M.V., Gothenburg (with a 6-cylinder two-stroke oil engine by the shipbuilder), for Leif Hoegh A/S., Oslo. 1965 – Sold to “Bulet” State Economic Enterprise (DTP ”Balkantrans”), Varna, Bulgaria, and renamed HYALITE. 1968 – Transferred to the Bulgarian Tanker Fleet, Burgas, and renamed ERMA in 1971. On 23 June 1977, fire broke out in her engine room while she was docked at Varna with a cargo of 17,000 tons of oil.
