Sauce Tureen, earthenware, standing on a short spreading oblong pedestal foot, lobed foot-rim with several raised moulded bands around it, oblong body with bulbous sides sloping inwards at the shoulder, several raised moulded bands around the body at the shoulder, flaring everted lip-rim moulded with foliate scrolls, to either end of the body twin horizontal loop handles moulded in the form of entwined scrolling leaves with further moulded leaves to the body below each handle, the cover missing; transfer-printed in blue with to the exterior body two large and two small sprays of flowers and foliage, small sprigs of flowers and foliage to the interior lip-rim, dentil border to the foot-rim of and shoulder of small circles and diamond shapes issuing small flowers, several narrow cracks to the body, the foot-rim chipped.
