Double cone-shaped, the inner one finely pierced, and the outer one with 3 louvres on side, both with co-inciding centre holes and a free-moving glass marble above to act as a plug. A brass plate on side of outer cone stamped 'The British Vacuum Washer Co. Duke St. Liverpool. The 'SWIFTSURE' Patent No 10999/15'. A long turned wooden handle fitted into socket at top of cone.
